Dr. Rives received his medical degree from University of Louisville Medical School in 1976. He completed a residency in urology in 1981 and participated in the residency programs in internal medicine and gerneral surgery.
Dr. Rives has been practicing urology at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center since 1981. He is on the consutling staff at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson Illinois and is a member of the clinical faculty for the University of Illinois School of Medicine in Champaign Illinois.
Dr. Rives is a past presidnet of the Coles-Cumberland County Medical Society, the Sarah Bush Linocln Health Center Medical Staff, as well as the Illinois Urologic Society, and the Illinois State Urologic society.
His membership in national professional societies include the American Medical Association, the American Urologic Association, the Christian Medical and Dental Association, as well as being a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
His community involvement has included serving on the Charleston City Council, chairing the initial Emergency Telephone Service Board which established 911 service in Coles County. He also served as chairman of the board of Sarah Bush Lincoln Community Health Plan from 1994-2000. Dr. Rives travels annually to perform surgery at the Northwest Haiti Christian Mission in St. Louis du Nord, Haiti.
Dr. Di Domenico received his medical doctorate (M.D.) from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies in 1988. He then earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa in 1991. His postgraduate residencies were in General Surgery and Urolgoy at the University of Illinois at Chicago Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. DiDomenico has been a practicing urologist since 1997 in the central Illinois area.
Dr. Di Domenico is an attending physician at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
Dr. Di Domenico has been active in both hosptial and regional urologic leadership positions, serving in various positions, even as President of the Illinois Urological State Society, President of the Medical Staff of Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center to name a few. He has also published professional articles in American Academic Cancer Research, Journal of American Ostopathic Association, Clinical Pharmacology, Medical Oncology, Journal of Clinical Ultrasound, and has given presentations at regional & national urology meetings.
